About Our Business
In the summer of 2004, Jamie Moorehead established Cripple Creek Taxidermy. The main goal of Cripple Creek Taxidermy is to preserve the beauty and majesty of the animals that you harvested, all while doing so in an affordable manner.
Family owned and operated, we will work with you to provide you and your family with a quality mount to enjoy for years to come. Jamie has many years of experience with art and has decided to focus those talents onto his other love, the outdoors.
We're a proud family owned LLC with an A+ rating from the BBB.
Our Capabilities
Please understand that the better condition of the animal prior to delivery will make a better end result. We are USDA certified which means that we are approved to accept a large variety of animals from around the world. We are also a USDA approval establishment for restricted species entering the United States.
Along with this, we have the ability to receive and mount animals from around the globe. We are also a Freeze Drying Service and our services include turkey heads, bait fish, velvet antlers or anything you need that requires freeze drying.
